This Privacy Policy describes how PLOBEAST, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as OSOWloads, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use OSOWloads.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (used for authentication, account communications, and password recovery)
• Password (stored in hashed form via Supabase Auth; we never store or have access to your plaintext password)
• Organization name (if applicable, for team plan accounts)
• User role and plan type (carrier or broker designation, subscription tier)

1.2 Calculation Input Data

When you use the calculator, you provide:

• Origin and destination addresses
• Load dimensions: width, height, length, weight, front overhang, rear overhang
• Axle count (when applicable)

This data is processed server-side to generate permit estimates. Route data (origin, destination) is sent to the Google Directions API to compute driving routes. Load dimensions are evaluated against our state regulatory database entirely on our servers.

1.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Number of calculations performed per billing cycle
• Timestamps of calculations and account activity
• General usage patterns for the purpose of enforcing plan limits and billing

1.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe may provide us with limited information such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, expiration date, and billing zip code for reference purposes. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how Stripe handles your payment data.

1.5 Cookies and Browser Storage

The Service uses:

• Authentication cookies/tokens managed by Supabase Auth for maintaining your login session
• localStorage for persisting your Bid Builder settings (cost per mile rates, margin preferences, smoothing mode) locally in your browser

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service: process your calculation inputs and return permit requirement estimates
• Manage your account: authenticate your identity, manage subscriptions, and enforce usage limits
• Process payments: coordinate with Stripe for billing and subscription management
• Communicate with you: send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset, billing notices) via our email provider (Resend)
• Maintain and improve the Service: monitor for errors, debug issues, and improve the calculation engine
• Enforce our Terms: detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and enforce acceptable use policies

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

3.1 Account data and usage records are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with Row-Level Security (RLS) enabled, ensuring that users can only access their own data.

3.2 All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We enforce HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers.

3.3 Passwords are hashed using Supabase Auth's built-in bcrypt hashing. We never store plaintext passwords.

3.4 API keys and secrets (Google Directions API, Stripe, Supabase service role) are stored as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to client-side code.

3.5 While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, billing, or dispute resolution purposes.

5.2 Calculation records associated with your account are retained for the duration of your subscription to support features such as calculation history and saved results.

5.3 Payment records may be retained as required by tax and financial reporting obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Opt-Out of Communications: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails (account-critical emails such as billing and security notifications cannot be opted out of while your account is active).

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Do Not Track Signals

The Service does not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because we do not engage in cross-site tracking.

10. International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States and is intended primarily for users within the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer and processing.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
